There is a nice project 1966 2 Door Skylark for sale on eBay. It looks like the interior is decent with bucket seats and console. These cars are getting harder to find. A parts car to fix your parts car Artie??? hehehe..... Hows the GS coming along? I gotta get mine to the track this year!
I think part of your addition is that is you don't see much of them and it's not a Chevelle or another Chevy. I know when I found my 66 Skylark. I was going to look for a car to resell. I first saw the car and could not believe how nice these cars are. Here we are 8 years later and I still have the car. Jerseysky66 (Bob)
Here's Another One! Another '66 Skylark with a 401 'bored and stroked' ??? Is this a board members car?......Anyway, It's only about a half hour from me if anyone wants me to take it for a test ride for them. :3gears: It's also practicly in Jeff 'Yardleys' backyard! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...ory=16124&item=2459369249&sspagename=STRK:MEB
board members car The green one belongs to a member or his son. I bought a sway bar from him last fall.
I got a reality check and decided not to keep bidding, I bought cam/timing chain for the Vette on Friday and it cost me $525(and that's wholesale!). I am prepping the Vette to run 10s and the GS to run 12s, so I may have to "purge inventory" a bit and stop buying every part I see, just the one I really need. I still have to get heads/cam for the GS but on the lighter side I found a 12-bolt from a '69 Buick that was built with a chevy rear for $250:grin: I just bought buckets for the GS that I probably won't even useou: Once the tracks are open regularly, I tend to keep myself out of these predicaments of buying too many parts:laugh:
