1966 skylark body bushing

    trying to find a set of body bushings for my car some books list the same mount as the 66 chevelle but when I got them they were smaller any ideas?

    I think that Poston has the full set of body bushings for around $100, and the hardware to go with it for an additional price.

    Most of the available replacement mounts are the same..... The ones I got from Year One look the same as the ones I got from CARS, which are the same as the ones I saw at Ground Up!
    The generic replacements are close to the original size. Used bushings just look larger since they squash out after all those years. The mounts behind the rear wheel, however were originally a larger diameter. Also the two in front of the rear wheel need a smaller dia lip to fit the hole in the frame. Just trim the replacement ones to fit. If you really want the larger diameter ones for the r wheel, Restoration Specialties in Pa have some listed in their catalog that look correct.
    I've heard Ames performance (GTO's) has a nice set. I'll be visiting them at a show in a few weeks, so I'll know more then.

    If it's not a concourse resto, the generic replacement ones will work fine. :TU:
