About 2.5 hours. Have family over that way......Not car people, but I could probably use it as an excuse to head over if needed. I'm kind of kicking the idea around that it'd be a good, easy way to adios myself and my Riv of the Dynaflow in it, but I've got about 300 other things to spend $2000 on beforehand.
Talked to the fella today, he bought it to put the engine and trans in his '53 Chevy truck but says it's too good a car to tear apart. Says rust free, four door post, bumpers are "ok", grille is good, glass is all good, interior is ok. Will have pics later today or tomorrow.
Another car that probably should be just cleaned up and run until the wheels fall off. It'd be a shame to slaughter this if it's as good as he says it is. I'd love to see the pics.
Pics. I'm passing, as I'd only be buying it to swap the powertrain into my Riviera and I'm half kicking around the idea of selling it myself. Guy is named Art and is super nice, easy to talk to if anyone decides to call him. Car has brand new tires, he's firm on the $2000 unless he keeps the new rubber.
Got to love those 66’ cats! Has tilt too! Probably original mileage!? Would make a great driver! A great starter car for a youth or someone to get into Buick hobby! I would buy it right now if it wasn’t 1700 miles away! I could have my buddy get it a hold onto it until I get out to Montana in fall? But if I do that I will just buy his 66 cat!
I'd have to agree with the post above, I'd buy that thing for my kid and have him go through it if it wasn't in a different country.
