401 nailhead, 2 speed, runs and drives good. Solid car to fix/upgrade as you go instead of a total teardown. Interior is decent for its age, very little rust, fully boxed gran sport frame. Will consider certain trades like aircraft projects, clean older trucks, steel, tractors. But no dirtbikes or wheelers, or sleds. Im busy during normal business hours so im not ignoring you if I don't answer or respond right away.

In all my years of looking at car ads I've never seen anyone say that they would trade a car for some steel.

Not that I’m considering this car, but how does it work transporting a car coming from Alaska to the States if it passes through Canada?

C'mon Jim, could there be a better road trip?!!
Location of the grille emblem is unique to the Fremont, Calif built cars.
    Clean car.

It's no problem, as it goes on a ferry usually from Anchorage to Seattle or vice versa. Last couple cars we shipped up were around $1600 port to port. You can then get a truck to haul from Seattle to wherever you would like just like normal.

It's a BEAUTIFUL drive in the spring and summer. Lot of dead space in the middle of nowhere, but definitely something worth doing at least once. I'd like to do it again when I'm not towing a trailer with all my belongings and a job to get to so I could stop and enjoy it more.

Interesting little bit of trivia about the grille emblem location. I think about 90% of my knowledge of the '66 GS came from reading your posts. Thanks.
