Buyers should check the VIN on this one to make sure it is a GS, since it has (and shouldn't) a 340 in it.
The vert looks like a Skylark with GS emblems. As Chris pointed out - wrong engine! The tail panel trim is Skylark, not GS. Battery is on passenger side, GS should be on right side. Nice looking Skylark tho!
WHAT?????? Do You actually Expect that there would have been a Mistake from the Factory................. On A BUICK?????????:eek2: Sorry Walt, I just Couldn't resist. JR
Yep, Always has to be a Wise Guy in the crowd. Lets take it easy on the factory workers. There are some of them on The Board here and WE are very touchy when our work is ragged on. :moonu: :TU: Jim
Sorry if I ruffled Your Feathers Jim. I am Not saying "Everyone" on the Lines are a problem by Any Means. But I have gone through Lordstown, & knew a Bunch of people that worked there, & know people that work there Now. After the Tour & Propaganda films, I have Never owned a car from there. I have gone into that story before, and have avoided the Firebirds from 67-9, Camaros & Full sized Chevys with a "U" in the VIN, or a LOR on the Data Tag. (BTW, it was also the Home of the Vegas & Asters) I remember the Bill Boards when the 67 Firebirds came out. "Made in Lordstown by Angels" Big joke was the parking lot, where all the Harleys were parked. There were gouges into the surfaces all over from the Guys starting their "CHs" out there. It fact, a few of the Boards were Tagged by Spray Bombs, to read "Hells" Angels. An Yes, I have seen the Camaros with Firebird Emblems, & vice versa, as well as the GMC/Chevy trucks saying 1 thing on 1 side, and the other on the opposite. My 84 GMC Suburban even had the "Option Decal" typed out for a Chevy Silverado, but had the GMC VIN. (John Stevens still has it, check the Left inner fender well) Now Back to or regularly scheduled Thread. :TU: JR
