I have ordered a radiator for this car three times from three different places and they keep sending a radiator that is totally backward. Can anyone give me a part number (napa, orielly ect.) for a radiator that fits this car? It appears they keep sending a radiator for a 67 and later car. I see USRadiator sells one but its VERY spendy and would like to find one thru a partshouse. thanks

I have an OEM Harrison radiator from a 66 Wildcat with AC, that I parted out a couple of years ago, that is for sale. It came out of a running car.
Let me know if you are interested. I thought I had photos, but can't find them. It is currently packed, but I could get in out and take some, if you need them.
It has the curved upper hose outlet to clear the AC unit.
    Thanks,

FWIW-I think the '65-6 Wildcat/Electra radiators were 2 row on non A/C cars and 3 row with A/C and the upper connection curved as Steve indicates with A/C. You can use the A/C radiator and (shroud too) on non A/C and just use the A/C upper hose. I've done that on a couple cars and adding the A/C cars clutched fan.

Had the same issues on my '66 AC Kitty, finally bought a used OEM AC unit and had it recored.
"lapham" sound like he has his facts right.

Wait till you try to get the correct motor mounts! (do your research first!)

Yeah, '66 only mounts are a difficult find, especially on a Wildcat or Riv. as that seems the only cars that used them. It was the 1st. year of the "Safety" mounts. I used to break the left mount almost monthly on my Riv. when it was new. I used a piece of chain with only 4 links & I haven't replaced a mount in 30+ yrs. Paint the chain black & for the most part it can't be seen. So what I'm tryin' to say is just use the regular mounts & stop driving yourself crazy trying to find the "Correct" originals, unless your going for a conquers resto. Personally I don't think it's worth the extra time, effort or money. The other option is to send them to Steele's.

It's the '66 B and C body (Wildcat-Electras) that have the 'unique' mount. They sure can be a problem to source. The E body Rivs have the 'usual' mount.

I have a radiator from a 65 Electra with AC that I'm parting out. Are you close enough for pickup?

Yep, I tried to buy a replacement radiator for my old 66 electra (non AC car) and the damn inlets and outlets were backwards. I ended up recoreing my stock one. Later I found out that AC cars and non AC cars are opposite.
