Can anyone tell me if the piece of the dash the encircles the entire dash (and rests below the dashpad) from a 1964 Skylark will fit a 1965? I do not know what the exact name of this part is but hopefully you know what I mean. Thanks in advance...Joe
the part you are refering to is called a dash surround. i dont know if any 64 larks had the padded dash like the 65 cars did. i have both types of surrounds, let me know if you dont find what you are looking for and maybe i can part with one of mine. Bob
While we're on the subject....Is the '65 convertible dash, with 'Accessory' embossed into the dash (for top switch) a convertible- only piece? I'm looking for dash chrome in VERY nice condition for a '65 GS 'vert. Thanks!
Ahhh. So that's what it's called. The one on my '65 Skylark got split on one side. Is there a glue that can weld that back together permanently?
I'm parting out a 1965 Skylark convertible right now. The dash surround is black and in perfect condition. I will have a thread later this afternoon with pics and prices on everything.
