Amazing the different between east and west coast cars. Amazing. Also, it says paint color is "brown". Are my eyes messed up?
He must have eduted hid ad, my eyes must really be playing tricks, hardtop convertible? 1 2 3 4 craigslist - Map data OpenStreetMap Ebener at Hudson (google map) 1965 Buick skylark VIN: 0000 condition: good cylinders: 8 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas paint color: brown size: mid-size title status: clean transmission: automatic type: coupe 1965 Buick hard top convertible good shape always been garaged v8 original beige color Been in the family 50 years
The lighting makes the color look like "Artic White" in the picture. Also near as I can tell it looks like a blue interior. Hard to tell with the lighting and looking through the front window. From the limited pictures I would say the car is well worth the money. Of course an on site inspection would confirm that.
Hard to tell with the crummy pictures & clothes basket sitting on the hood... why?, why?, Do sellers really think this makes anyone want to consider their car?
Hey Chris he might be an old guy like me, when the first "Hardtops"came out, they were referred to as "Hardtop Convertibles" even by the dealers. Bob H.
If you can't even bring yourself to push the car out of the garage to get a decent picture or two, it's obvious you don't want to sell it too badly. It's not like it's snowed in. With that being said, it looks like a good deal if it's as nice as the limited pictures make it seem. "Been in the family 50 years..." I wonder if this is an inherited car and the new owner just wants to dump it for some quick cash.
That is a possibility. Maybe part of an estate sale. The tags on the plate looks to be current. By the way the plates on my California 1965 Skylark start with RGRXXX.
All of this^^^ aside. it looks to be a nice car. if its complete no rust ect 4k is pretty good i would think. Actually a great car to put a GN drive train in V6 turbo with a 200r4 ? Some suspension work, tires ect. you got a bad ride right there.
Here's another nice looking one (except for the dents) in Indiana. Was on here before and still for sale for a little less. Looks like was well taken care of with some nice mechanical details. https://tippecanoe.craigslist.org/cto/5950941222.html
Yeah, the pics aren't that good. It shows enough to see if it worth stopping by or asking for more photos or whatever. I know I want someone to actually come out and take a look at the darn thing if I am selling. Pictures lie anyway and usually make things look better than they are. Price doesn't seem bad either. Beige in color? I always kinda liked the 65s.
