I'm thinking its actually a 1965 Special..... Due to taillights and dash.

OK, help me with this. This is the second 65 Special Deluxe Conv I've seen in the last 2 days. They never made a 65 Special Deluxe Conv and it would be a lot of work adding the trim since they use spot welded studs to hold the clips on.

Not sure, but isn't the door set up for Special interior panels with the trim going across down a ways from the top of door? I think 65 Skylark door panels roll over top of door to the window like 64 Skylark.

Smokey15 So old that I use AARP bolts.

With all the aforementioned questions, I'd make darned certain that the vin #s on the title and car matched.

Only the top trim level Skylarks wrap around the top. I'm pretty sure my lower trim level Skylark doesn't wrap (I haven't looked at it in a long time)and I know for sure my Special and Special Deluxe don't wrap.

The hood and grill don't seem to line up and where is the drivers front inner fender?

Says it's 'rust free'. Look at those floors.... they've been patched and it looks like the patches are now rusting thru!
I think when he says 'rust free' he means the rust is included at no extra charge!
