I am probably buying this car, I'm heading up next week to get it if it's as clean as the pics and owners claim.

I didn't buy it, supposedly original paint and 2 small rust spots the size of a "nickel". The car has been painted probably a long time ago and had the rear fender wells patched. You can see the cuts and welds in the trunk, and also you can see rust holes in the truck floor as well as patches on the floor. The fender wells are now rusty again and has rust along the lower sides under the trunk, all along the lower. The rear window channel also has rust as well as the inner fenders where the rear body mounts go, has holes. The u channels under the car on the floor are almost completely rusted away, I mean I was pulling chunks off with my hands and giving them to the owner. So it needs both rear quarters, a lower rear window channel, front fender patches, trunk floors and I don't know how much repair on the inner fenders and floors. I was highly bummed out, I've been looking for a clean, 64/65 for about 5 years and can't find anything decent that the owners don't watch Mecum auctions. You guys know what I mean, it's old so it must be worth 6 figure's, lol. The seller relisted it for a higher price as well.
    Thanks

Sorry to hear , can be difficult finding a honest seller that doesn't waste you time .
I'll keep an eye out for one in California or Nevada as I'm heading there in a couple of weeks on my family three week RV trip
