Greetings to the world of the tri-shield.!
I have a 65 electra convertible purchased from the family of the original owner, 120k miles in pretty good shape. Its a custom convertible with the wildcat motor and lots of options, been sitting for about 10 years. Just got the engine running and after a couple minutes of imitation of a singer sewing machine it smoothed right out and is running great. Got the gas tank blasted and sealed, new hoses for the brakes, ignition wires, plugs and engine flush, new tires on the way..got a new dashboard instrument cluster to install and with any luck will get it on the road this week and get the top replaced. Still have to clean it up and figure out the best way to restore the paint, chrome is ok and bumpers are coming back nicely.

I welcome any tips and look forward to seeing everyone on the road soon!
