So the way I read the rules there is no way to post a vehicle for trade? That seems like an oversight to me. While I don't see a need for a trade forum maybe the wording or rules could be tweaked a little. I believe the pricing idea was to eliminate a bidding war or auction possibility. That said, it it wouldn't be hard to throw an inflated price out there, followed by " Will trade for 70 GS." or whatever. IMHO Bob H.
So to make it correct and follow the rules the seller could ask $50K OBO or trade for a 1970 GS Etc ???
Best of luck man . Please don't take it wrong I was just trying to help two Buick guys out . He can't afford mine so thought I'd see for him . I offered hi mine with a brand new Stay Fast top with tinted plastic window . He's been trying to come up with coin but no luck . He's in the $12-$ 15 k range . Once again good luck , Mike
Nothing wrong with saying you would like to trade. But what's so hard about putting a price on, doesn't have to be a low price! Putting a price on saves everybody a lot of tire kickers and time.o No:
OK! There ya go.:TU: Nice looking car and I've seen worse asking more. And it is a drop top too, don't forget.
I say he has a price. The price is a good 455 GS. He doesn't want the cash. Pretty straight forward if you ask me.
Thanks for sharing the pics! (Re: 1965 Buick Skyark Gran Sport) Dear Jeff and V-8 Buick fans of 65s Thanks for posting the extra picts. Certainly a nice looking car and I must admit a certain temptation to add a convertible to the 65 motorpool . . . . . However, my pocketbook insists on a very strict diet :dollar: . . . . restore only 1 65 at a time!! Cheers, Edouard :beer
