    Hi Mike,

Unbelievable. What is the world coming to when you can't even get 17k for such a beauty.

I guess people are having a hard time money wise and are concerned about the economy etc.

I would say keep posting on whatever sites you can and be patient, as i'm sure you have heard more than once. Eventually the right buyer will come upon it and hopefully soon.

    Cheers bud. Really nice car.

    Hey thanks a lot :TU:

I'm thinking of putting disc brakes , Buick tach and 15 " rally steering wheel .
I'll just enjoy her until next year was really only selling to get convertible but I can wait since weather will be changing shortly :Brow:

    Thanks again , Mike

I have a 64 buick special convertible but it needs a little TLC, nowhere near the hardtop your selling. I haven't done anything with it yet but hopefully one day. It has the little V6/ST300 in it. I just happened upon it right after i purchased my 65 post car. The price was good so i bought it and immediately put it in dry storage.

I have a real all number matching big block with 43K miles for 11k and it won't sell either. Market is so soft, I am doing whatever i can to keep it.

But i could use the money too:mad:

Good idea. The market has to bounce back eventually. I still think it's a very good investment so i'm also going to try to keep the ones i have.

    Cheers,

    Gary

I only have the two hardtops and need a convertible for my wedding next year . Skylark had only one offer of $ 8 k  . Market is way down and I'm not willing to lose to much :dollar: . Both cars can be shown right now and GS comes with 15 " rally's but 17's can be added . Same old , :dollar: talks and BS walks :pp . Sorry I forgot to put link so thanks guys and have a Happy holiday season :beer

Like you said, market is down. You likely wont get much if you need to sell anytime soon, but you also won't pay as much for your next convert :TU:

So it really works out ok because the percentage difference you pay to 'upgrade' will be less as long as you buy something before prices go up again... whenever that happens.

Mike, would you explain to me why it's 17,500 BIN this time. It didn't sell last time at 17,000 BIN so you re-list at a higher price.I'am not trying to be a smart a$$ just curious.I see it alot on Ebay and your the first guy that can maybe explain the logic behind raising the price when something doesn't sell.
