    Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my brakes. I'm looking for a kit that will proved me with everything from top to bottom with. My budget is low 750-1k ish.

    This car is just a week cruiser for me and my wife. So I'm not trying to spend 2k-4k on brakes. If someone could give me some pointers that would very kind.

    I boughjt a generic kit from Jegs that works just fine on my Skylark. I've had it on for 8-9 Years. Just front discs tho. The dust cap says SSBC on it. I put another set on my GS over the Winter. 4-500 was the price. Look up a A body brakes.

    There is a cheaper alterative to converting to disc;

    Get a dual type master cylinder. This will separate the front brakes from the rear brakes. Add front disc brakes. That will give you a modern brake system. Get discbrakes.com has the parts .I got a rear setup from there with stainless lines.
