1965-66 Wildcat Electra NOS/NORS motor mounts and factory tie down cable with bracket

One thing you could do Rick - copy those instructions for us! It would be a nice addition to John's repro.

I'll get it posted to this thread. I can probably get some pretty good measurements too.

 

The idea is so simple, I wish I could figure a way to use this with Stage 2 cylinder heads. What is the GM part number of the torque strap if I may ask?

I bought a kit made for a sbc and modified it to make it work the only way possible on my '67 GS. There's no way the cable will slide under the control arm shaft like in the above illustration. I had to mount it ahead of the front stud in order for it wrap around the shaft. Although it's not ideal, it does offer some protection from a MM break and really doesn't look grossly out of place.
