1964 Rivi Disc Brake conversion-Anybody? Hello....I just bought a 64 Buick Riviera and I want to convert the front to disc brakes. But I don't want to spend $1500 for a kit. I found a company in WA, called Scarebird Mechanical. For $100 they sold me brackets that bolt to the original drum brake spindles. Then I can bolt on calipers and rotors from any full size GM vehicle. I understand that I need to put in a dual master cylinder because the disc brakes use more fluid. But I have heard mixed views on whether I need to add a proportioning valve. Any ideas? Also, I heard that I can bolt on a dual master cylinder without changing anything else. Is this the case? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
