    1964 Lesabre
    1972 Skylark SBB 350 block

Test fitted the 64 Lesabre 300ci oil pan onto the 1972 350 block.
The oil pickup from the 72 350 block was in the way for the 64 oil pan to fit onto the block.

Question #1: The 64 300 oil pan came with a baffle. Will this be needed? I couldnt find anywhere on the 72 350 motor for this baffle to mount too.

Question #2: Will the oil pickup from a 64 300 fit onto the 72 350 block?

Question #3: What do I do with the baffle?

Any body do a 350 engine swap into a 64 Lesabre? Your knowlge would be greatly appreciated.

I remember someone did this swap once before and I am pretty sure they cut and modified the 350 pan and used the 350 pickup. I tried to find it but had no luck....

I sadlly got rid of my 64 lesabre before i had the chance to do the very same thing as you'll be doing.
I wouldnt worry about the baffle.
as for the pickup tube, you can try and see if the 300 stuff works..

When I was thinking about doing this I was just planning to notch the 350 pan to clear the xframe.

as Sean said, someone did do this with pics! and was minor notching of 2 spots or so onethe pan as I recall
