Hey Guys- I'm new to the forum so wanted to say in advance that I'm looking forward to participating here in the future. Way back when I got married I sold my beautiful white on red convertible and now many years on I'm looking to find another (not necessarily in same color combo). I've been looking for several years now, off and on, and have recently gotten serious in my search. I've spoken with the sellers of multiple cars that are currently listed for sale in Georgia and Iowa. All have been dealer cars. Nothing against dealers but ideally I'd like to buy a privately owned car with as much known history as possible. Generally speaking I'm looking for either a low mile unrestored "survivor" car or a very well restored (#1 or strong #2 condition) vehicle. Desired options: - Ideally 4-speed but Automatic's are good too. - Ideally 425 but 401's are good too. - Bucket seats. - Air Conditioning. - Factory Mags. - Color combinations - flexible - the more loaded the better If anyone has any recommendations or advice please lay it on me I'm looking for something real special so I understand I may be at it for a while (but ready to buy now). Thank you, Matt- Austin, TX
Hey Guys- I'm still looking... if anyone knows of a special '64 convert. please let me know. Thanks, Matt-

Thanks for sending these links Chris.! I've seen 2 of the 3. Closest to my requirements is the Florida car but bench and non-factory air are detractors.

Did you see the dual quad car in FL? AC, but not bucket seats. http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAP...5851&item=331080405851&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466
Thanks for the lead. I spoke with David. Super nice guy but not the right car (needs total resto). He passed along a couple other leads though. The black FL car is nice but condition and bench are issues. I'm looking for a real "time capsule" (aka "Survivor") car.

The car is solid as is the frame. If you don't know how to replace sheet metal or know someone who can or have the money to pay then this car isn't for you. They only made 275 of these cars which makes this RARE because there are probably less than 75 left in existence. If this car didn't need this work don and was a 10 then I would be asking $30-$35,000 but it's not its a 4. A car worthy of being restored to original conditions and yes all parts can be had for this car. If you have more questions call, I'm not going to text. I am willing to consider trades.
