I have upper and lower hinges for a 64-65 Skylark. I already changed bushings in one upper. I do have new bushings for the other 3 hinges. The way they sit $60 for all 4 If I change the bushings in the other 3 $80 for all 4 + shipping from 60586. They will fit in a med flat rate box for the lower 48 states.
How are the springs and other parts of the hinges? I will take them if they are in good shape. And do you have any need for the chrome trim off of a 66 Olds vista cruiser? That would be around the skylight windows and the rear windows. I also have access to a nice 66 rear wagon bumper, but it won't fit your 65 project.
Kurt, The hinges have some play and that's why I was going to replace the bushings. The springs are arms are good on them. I was going to sand blast them as well this weekend but I got to the place that sells the slag 8 mins late and they were already closed. They are not broken. I removed the springs but could install them back on before shipping. For the rest I will pm you about the moldings. Thanks.
Hi Brian, I have lots of hinges, but none that would work well with just new bushings. If yours will work smoothly, not pop and make funny noises, you install the new bushing and blast them, I would be glad to give you $80 for the set.
