Need some help, Dad's 1963 Wildcat has a clunking noise in the rear end, the control arm bushings look rotten as I can push my screwdriver into the soft rubber. But I've looked online for some new bushings to no avail. I checked my usual go to's - Rock auto, Ebay, even checked the Energy suspension and Moog site, none listed. So I'm wondering where I can get the correct sized bushings for the two lowers and the adjustable upper control arm. The track bar looks to be a newer replacement and the bushings are like new. Would 1963 Impala bushings be the same size? Any answers would be appreciated. Thanks Dave
Rare Parts makes them and retail is about $80 each. I got mine for about $60 each online at Car Parts Discount. You need 6 of P/N 35905 to do the entire rear suspension.
Glad to help. Check my posts and you'll find a thread on my rear suspension rebuild. I boxed the lower control arms when I found one had a serious bend in it.
