Well, I can't answer your wheel question but if you measure diagonally from one wheel lug across to the other that will be your "bolt circle". That way you can shop for wheels and be able to describe them as a '4 hole, 4.5" bolt circle', or whatever they are...

I apologize if I am telling you something you already know...

Incidently, my '63 Lemans has a 5 hole pattern, but it is a "5 hole, 4.5 inch" bolt circle (ie MOPAR) and the threads on the LH side of the car are LH threads....

It should be 4 on 4.5"
I can not tell you what the off set is
I would not go over a 6" wide wheel

I have the same car. It's a 4 on 4.5 and very hard to find wheels for. Let me know if you've found any more info on this PLEASE. I am trying to change over to a standard 5 lug GM hub/axle combo but I'm not sure what will fit. Theres a list at the bottom of this page but I'm not sure how accurate it is. http://www.alliedracingwheels.com/patternref.html

I changed to late model (65 to 69) Corvair hubs on front and had rear axles redrilled to 5 X 4.75 pattern, same as front. This is standard GM so a wide variety of wheels. The spindle/hubs are same dimensions and interchangeable except for grease seals. I have a '62 and would assume the '63 is same dimensions. Just checked Hollander's and they show same part number for '62 and '63 Buick Hubs.

The Corvair hubs front and having the rear axels holes filled and redrilled is probaly the best answer to your problem.
The four lug wheels are around but hard to find and a limmited selection.
I think the stock 4 lug, backing spacing 3.5" on the 5"to 5.5" wide wheels
