Yes, the 66 spreadbore manifold is a one year only set up that was for the qjet carb. It flows real well, just right for one of those wonderfull holley 800 spread bores that you can get just about any thing in the way of accessories, parts and neat goodies for. Plus they perform sooooo well !!!!!!!! Some people that I know and like dont care for them but that is OK, that leaves more of them for me....... Lets see now how can I make a adapter for Joes lawn mower???? Joe, is your mower a single or a twin????

Doc- what did you do to the original holes that were tapped for the Carter? Did you braze/weld the holes to fill them in or something?

    Well,
Yaccy, I think you are talking about the holes in the intake manifold. You use those to hold the 1/4'' plate to the manifold with the counter sunk screws. [1/4-20 thread] Then the 1/4-20 stud or bolt holes are tapped into the plate to the holley bolt pattern.

On the edelbrock, the accelerator pump linkage has 3 holes. Try moving to a hole that will deliver the pump shot sooner. I did this on 327 I had and it made the off idle stumble about 90 % better. Is the stumble when you stomp on the pedal or when you accerlerate slowly? If it happens when you stomp on it then is lean on the pump shot.
