    1963 Buick LeSabre 2dr Hardtop - $5500.00 or TRADE

I'm the 2nd official owner, original owner bought it new, then it was inherited by a family member after it was already parked. I purchased it from them. Before I got it running this year, it had not been on the road since 1994. Car has spent its life in the rust free, dry side of the state. It was purchased new at Bailey and Graham in Portland, Or.

Runs and drives - You can drive it on the trailer, or around town as it sits right now. However it still needs some more work before I would take it very far (brakes mainly). Auto-choke needs dialed in, I manually manipulate it to get it going when its cold. Starter solenoid going bad, have the replacement, however it keeps starting, so I not installed that yet.

Car is strait, there is one minor ding on the left rear which I have taken a photo of.
Rust is only on the surface, some call it patina. There is absolutely no cancer on the car. This is perfect restoration candidate.

All trim complete and in good shape.

I had the front and rear seats redone.
Gas tank removed and relined, all new fuel lines installed.
Full tune up completed (distributor, cap, rotor, plugs, wires and fluids changed).
Radiator replaced, have the original in the event you want to re-core it.

This is as close to unmolested and original as you can get. The pictures explain most, please email or text your additional questions.

I will look at trading (trades, trade, barter). Surprise me, worst I can say is no. I'm partial to pre-1980 Ford Trucks. Have a '78 short-bed I'm restoring, could be interested in work on that if you can prove your work is professional level. Motorcycles, boom sticks or other cool things. Again, worse thing that happens is I politely decline.

If you have something worth more than this car, I also have a 2001 Dodge 2500 4X4 that is listed for sale ( https://portland.craigslist.org/grg/cto/d/goldendale-2001-dodgex4-v8/ show contact info .html ). I would trade both towards the right thing. I can add cash or boom sticks as well for the right trade.

The last picture is what I had planned to make this car like, however other projects have taken priority and I sort of talked myself out of making this a resto-mod. Its really that clean that an all original restoration may be more appropriate. That will be up to you.

Well, it's a LeSabre. Too bad it isn't a Wildcat. The price is a bit on the high side, but the car does look straight and it appears to be functional; - so the price may not be all that bad. This would be a perfect car to learn how to lay paint with; - it'll never be worth a lot so if it gets screwed up, big deal.
If it was around here, I'd buy it and use it as a driver.

  3. The last year for a big engine in the LeSabre as well until I think 1970 when you could get an optional 455
