    Hi guys!

I just bought myself a 1962 lesabre recently imported from America, I'm living in Sweden and really enjoy the car so far.

Although I'm uncertain about my 401 nailhead, it seems like the belt for PS is poorly mounted and I suspect that it's missing some parts therefore I'm searching for a picture of the engine in detail of the pump and the belt for the PS so I can try to locate the missing part.

On my engine the PSbelt rubs against the waterpump witch doesn't seems right.

The other issue is that the engine stalls all of a sudden, a humble cough just before it stalls, sometimes it keeps on running but yesterday it died on me on the freeway.

Fortunately it started up again after 15-20sec then runned smoothly back home, guessing the carburetor or fuelpump perhaps?

It's been a long dream of mine to have an old Yankee car and finally I could afford one so the happiness is real, haha!

    Take care!
    Greetings from Sweden

dont forget to show us a few pics of the lesabre

and about that other problem with the car:
    it sounds fuel related
i had a problem like that because the vent hole in the gas cap was blocked
this created a vacuum in the tank and the engine would die, just like yours

remove the gas cap from the tank and go for a cruise
