I have just purchased a perfect body 62 jetfire. Inside needs redooing, all else is sweet. 3 speed auto, turbo 215 cid v-8, though it has a 4 bbl carb and manifold now, turbo must of been too complicated.

I was wondering if the body pannels were aluminum?

Does anyone know of a turbo manifold and carb for sale. The one I have is really rough. Any help would be great.

    Howdy,

Just to let you know the turbo and intake system on the jetfire is often regarded as one of the most complicated induction systems ever and is honestly a very poorly designed turbo system. Unless you are going for a full correct restro I would think about modernizing the turbo system. Your car is probably part of Old's de-turbo program where they replaced the entire turbo system with a conventional 4bbl carter. Just some stuff for your information.

Just my $.01, my advice ain't worth anymore,
