Is that some "I Wanna Fire" plastic tube fuel line feeding those dual carbs?

Just a Hilborn would take it back to the way it was in the 60s.

Looks like the same car I have seen at shows the last couple of years in northern Minnesota. Unique.

Ah, the infamous "stahl" converter! I hear they're as hard to find as rocking horse poo.

    gscalifornia Small blocks rule!!

It's pretty close to the same color combo and even has MN plates on it which confused me. I don't think the one in Duluth has the cross-ram intake though.

The car I drove Cleveland to Oceanside back in April 1969, minus the strait axle setup was exactly the same color combo ! fun car ! 1962 skylark/ white top/red bottom black bucket seat interior.

Look at the steering linkage and welding. That's scary just looking at it, no way I would drive it. There is a definate reason that type fuel line was pulled from the shelves long ago.

Why would anyone run a dual carb small block chevy in a drag car with a 3.00 rearend? Even in a straight line that car would throw a scare into you, if for no other reason than the quality of the welds on the suspension parts and the steering setup. It's probably a blessing it doesn't have a 700HP big block in it.
