1960 LeSabre is sweet! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2449220509&category=6138
LoL...I posted a thread about this very car bout 2 weeks ago, it must not have sold and they have relisted it....its a bad boy for sure! :TU:
N M R I see 2 bad things here. (1) No more room (2) JW will hang me if I don't stay"focused" on the race car . But it sure is Perty ! :Brow: :3gears: :3gears:
I love the look of that model. Once there were frequently seen but like so many cars it just seemed like one day they were all gone. I would need more poinies under the hood. A car like that looks bad to the bone but cannot back it up. Like so many if you buy it for what he wants and deal with the engine shortfall you are going to take a 10-15k loss if you decide to sell. Same is true of recent OK GSX except much worse.
Well said ... You'd have to keep it , and fiqure you will never sell it . Same as my leSabre . Too many dollars in it to get your money back . Some we rebuild to keep. :TU:
Bruce : That is what we all say including me to justify getting in too deep on a car relative to value now, in the short term, and in the worst cases the long term. Chance are is that we will sell because sooner or later we will see one we think we want even more.
I think Jay Leno said it best about the car hobby........."If you make money at this, your doing something wrong".
Well said or as I would say " The art and hobby of rescuing and restoring muscle cars is what made a billionaire--- a millionaire."
