This 60 Buick has a nailhead motor that starts right up no smoke runs smooth has power steering and brakes. Needs a gas tank currently running off a container under the hood. Has rust in the floors rockers and trunk which are available at Classic 2 Current Fabrication out of Detroit. Frame needs rust repair on drivers side in front of and behind the rear axle. Anything can be repaired if you want to put the time and or money into it I just don't want to take on that kind of project. This is a one year only body style so you don't see these cars too often so parts are usually hard to come by, I believe there are a lot of good parts left on this car if someone wanted to part it out for another project. Feel free to ask questions I'll answer them to the best of my knowledge. Come take a look at it 4500 or best offer.

If this thing was local to me I'd go and have a look; I've always loved these things, and miss the one I used to have which wasn't quite this rusty but it was getting there. The biggest problem with this car is that you pretty much have to cut the body off at the bottom of the doors and replace everything underneath. Good chance that the frame needs a lot more than what said here. If a guy had a solid frame and a good welder this thing would be possible and desirable; however, without any of that, it would be impossible, and that's why this guy is trying to get rid of it. And yes, the low option load on this one doesn't help it in the least either. Electra is supposed to be loaded, especially on these early ones where there's no discernible physical differences between it and a LeSabre unless you know where to look.

OK V8 Buick Peole; This is tougheee. I have a trio of 60 Electra coupes. One, solid and running good. The next solid and locked up. The third one is like this thing. Rusty as hell and running good. I'm not one to break up a 60 Electra coupe but when they're this far gone there's little hope unless you don't care about spending enough for several room additions on it. And I have a super clean frame too!
