Bought an '60 Invicta a few years back that came with a Edelbrock carburetor on the manifold. Car runs great, but, the carburetor is not connected to the transmission kick down. Does anyone make a linkage to connect the edelbrock to the original dynaflow tranny? Thanks,

Nope, unfortunately I'm not aware of anything being produced. Russ Martin might have something, but you'll likely have to come up with something on your own. Nothing a little rod/threaded rod bent to shape can't fix! :TU:

Made a kickdown linkage setup for an Edelbrock and the ST300 kickdown on my 401 out of an Edelbrock 8021 kickdown linkage item. Takes some modifying of the original parts and a bit of playing around to have the kickdown work at the proper time. First picture is of the original part. Next four show the part as modified and mounted. Best of luck.

Guys - I have a 1963 Riviera with a 401 and a Holley carb. I bought the linkage bracket from Russ Martin but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it work right. The Stator is hooked up but there is no kickdown. Any ideas?

In theory, it's pretty simple - you want 12v going to the top terminal of the trans at 6/7ths (?) throttle. Check for power going into the switch, and power going out to the trans at just about full throttle travel. When you have power to the trans, listen for the solenoid click inside the tranny (you'll hear it) - good to go !
