I'm in process of building a 60's custom style 1960 Invicta 2 door hardtop. I just had some reverse chrome wheels made that unfortunately do not fit my front drums because of the cone shaped wheel bearing housing that is original to a 1960 drum, I have an extra set 1965 Wildcat drums that will fit my new wheels but I'm not sure if they will fit the car? I'm hopeful they will just bolt on and they will use the stock 60 wheel bearings, but I doubt it, does anyone out ther know the answer to this one? It would be nice to get some insght before I tear into it. Any and all help would be appreciated!

I think they will. I believe the both have the 45 fin style. I used to have several sets but have sold off all but one spare set. If not the swap should be real simple. I put 1964 drums on my 55 spindles using the 64 bearings and only had to make a spacer for the inner bearing and grease seal using the 55 inner bearing race.
Test fit one side using the 65 drums and stock bearings. Don't put the grease seal in until you know it all fits. This way if you have to take them apart or send them out for resurfacing, you won't risk damaging the seal on disassembly.
