I'm trying to find out if here are other direct replacements for a 1957 buick special 2 door hardtop. I've found a couple on either eBay or Craigslist but the junkyards I've had little luck (and lack experience finding parts). Is there a place to order a replica or an easy way to find one? The two I've found appeared to be very rust and pitted and too far in distance. I'm located in Milwaukee and will travel several hours but they were located in either coast. thoughts?
I'm sorry about the delayed response but it's a back burner project and I split my time between this (long term) project and our 1964 barracuda which is toy currently. I'm looking for several parts: I found a grill but still needing the emblem windshield Drivers side rear quarter hood (possibly) Would you be able to attach some pictures of your cars?
The only thing I would have is the emblem. I DO have a hood, but would not want to leave the engine compartment open to the elements. Would like something to cover it with, an old hood??? I don't have a camera. The emblem has been inside the car for years & looks to be in fairly good condition for a driver. Tom T.
