I'm going to be looking a 3 54 4 door sedans, models unknown, next month. One is supposed to be in good enough condition to win at car shows, the second needs work on the dash. The third is a parts car. What are the price ranges for conditions 1-3? Are there any special things to look for on these cars beside that they are 50 years old?
Re: 1954 4 Door Sedan There is a wide variation regarding your request. A Trophy winner could be worth 20 grand and a parts car 1,500. there is also a wide varation regarding the Model. A Roadmaster or a super would be worth more than a Special. The overall condition of the vehicle is most important. Traditionally Convertables and 2 door hardtops are more "Desirable" and are priced accordingly. A Roadmaster "C" Body is the top of the line and usually has a lot of options power Brakes, steering, windows and driver seat. the Super is also a large "C" body 215" lenght 127" w/b but is more economy oriented. The Special is a "B" body and the bottom of the line an entry level model and is shorter and narrower and is less desirable and is worth a lot less. Regards, Tom Gallagher
