Jason, your comment about getting creative on the engine side is spot on! I just came back from Cruizing the Coast and 99% of the street rods have chevy engines. I know they package easily and have all kinds of bling available, but for goodness sake, why don't they try to be more creative? I hate rat rods, but at least those guys can come up with some off the wall propulsion occasionaly.
A breathed on straight 8 would have been nice. I had a '37 Buick street rod project and was doing just that when a divorce forced the project's sale back in 2005. I am better off even w/o the car :moonu:
