There are a couple 70 4 speed conv that have recently been sold at 200-260K. Real nice cars with documentation but not frame off restorations. The pudding is in the paperwork for an Olds W-30. These cars are highly desirable although not as rare as some others.
like the lawyer said,it's all about numbers and paperwork. i actually think a/c hurts the value of a W-30. if this was a 4 speed,it would be awesome. :TU:
Thornton Brothers.. they know olds inside and out.. used to be real close to me 5-10mins. moved to a larger shop. about 30-40 mins away now. 1 of 126 built
Thornton repros for Olds are hands down the highest quality out there. Class act. Mileage means nothing on restored cars and old diesel pickups! :TU: :TU: :beer
1970 w-30 This car was sold at the Russo and Steele Auction in Jan for $135,000 + buyers premium to get it to $148,500. It was recently offered at another auction about a month ago but I don't know the outcome. The car is spectacular but over restored. Several items under the hood are cad plated and should be black. If you think AC and Auto detract from a W-30,then I have one that fits the bill.
I saw a F85 for sale in the paper this weekend. It seems to be pretty original. I memorized the ph# for you guys. . . 431-0009. What's a Cleveland area code? And is my memory really as good as I think? :Brow:
