I was wondering how much of a difference i am going to notice if i put an 1800 stall converter in my new tranny. I have a 1970 GS 350 with a new motor that is strong. .40 over and 10-1 comp. I only have a rv cam in it but my tranny guy says with an 1800 it will run a lot harder. Just wondering if it is worth the extra money. thanks in advance for all the info. Nathan

You will notice a little better take off but for the money I would run a TCI breakaway which is about 2200 to 2400. Depending on what you are going to do with car such as street or racing.
