anybody using 16s ? I've seen 17" and up or stock 15s but not too many 16. To me, 16" seems to be a good compromise between size and cost. Any tire size combos, backspacing issues? I was thinking about a 245/50 on all four corners, or maybe a 275/50 on the rear. Any thoughts?

    Backspacing

Hey George, got those wheels all polished up and ready to go, just got the car out and making some suspension mods, ( 86 GN)
I purchased your 16x8 wheels and just measured backspacing a minute ago after i saw your post, I'm reading 4and 1/4" backspace on the wheel, for front and back. in yourpost where you refering to the new 17" wheels? for everones info the wheels are Weld Pro Star 16 x 8" with 4and 1/4" backspace . George where did you measure from the tire or the wheel itself as this may clear a few things up? thanks Bruce:grin:
P.S. I can't believe I polished all those lugnuts and then remembered that the GN's are metric, DOUHHH:Dou:
