have a new set of wheels coming 15x7 front and 15x8 rear. I have a new set of 225/70/15 tires that I going to run on the front for now since they were free and new, and I am leaning toward 255/60/15's on the rear. Looking for a little more "undercover" look so like to try and stay away from 275's ( for now) this is a street car. i would love to see some pics whoever is running this rear combo.
i used to run 255 60s on 7 for rear and 235 60s with 7 on the front now i run 275 60s on an 8 for rear and 245 60s on a 7 both combos looked mean your combo will still look good fat rear skinny front but the 225s will be a tad taller then the 255s buy like .4 no biggie
Here you go !!! 255-60's on 15X8" on rear,... 215-70' on 15X7" on front. Same size height on both!!   Mart
I have 255/60's on the back and 205 75's up front ..... this isn't a great angle...but I can upload a shot more from the rear if you need it.
Ask and yee shall receive. Thanks Mart. Looks awesome. I looked up an old thread and found your car and comment about the 255's looking a little wider on a 15x8 rim. Cool. your car is a beauty. Thanks Mike. The is an awesome photo. Other thing that is cool is that I ordered Weld Prostars so its cool to see Welds on yours. A classic tuff look. That car is in the TA cataloge correct? Mike
DL, Thanks for posting the photo. looks awesome. nice car. do you have any rubbing with the 255's in the front? Mike
None at all, and I prob need new shocks. Someone put those incorrect knockoff spirals on it, and the back are leaking for sure. Seems like the KYB's are highly recommended, I might try those out. DL
Those 255's look great in the front and back! I did a search and it seems some people have issues with 255's rubbing in the front and some don't. Gives me a headache! I'd like to run 275/60's in the back and 255/60's in the front but I don't want them rubbing.
