I checked old threads, not sure I saw the answer to the specific question. Can I use 275/60 TA Drag Radials on 15x7's? BFG recommends 7.5 minimum width (1970 Stage 1). If not then what tire is recommended if I upsize wheel to 15x8, or 15x9. Probably will keep a second set of 245/60 streets mounted, but would use Drag Radials occasionally on the street. Picking up tweaked switch pitch tomorrow, and want to get a few runs in before the end of the summer. Thanks, Rob

You should be fine running those tires on 15 x 7 rims. Lots of people do. I had them on both 7 and 8 wide rims. No problems.

Phil, what size rims are you running your 325/50's on? Mike D.

Wheels are Buick Rallye wheels from Specialty Wheel in Oregon. Wheels are 15 x 10 with 5-5/8" backspacing. They REALLY fill up the wheel wells.

I did have to trim about 1/4" off the top of the fenderwell to get no rubbing. I have about 1/2" on the inside also.

I haven't heard many mentions of 275/50 15, is that because of the smaller size (26 v 28)? What pressures have been common in rear (stage one, T/A killer cam, 2.5 exhaust, sp turbo 400 heave sprag, clutches, etc)? Any advantage to going to 15x6 in the front? Common pressures for front 15x7 (comp ta 245/60). Just picked up car from trans shop (CTS Transmissions in Wayne, Chuck the owner very helpful-a racer)-"neck snapping, tire burning shifts". Thanks, Rob

I run mine at about 25 lbs. on the street. I generally take them down to about 16 or so at the track. I have gone as low as 12, but that seems to be about the limit without fearing them coming off the rim.
