Mike: Let me try to understand this - I have a few old AC filters in my garage, still in the box. They're worth $150 each? I think I need to clean out my garage! -Paul
reproduction filter not exactly the same... The reason the original filter is so highly desired is because it has the embossed letters on the bottom. Reproductions don't have the embossed letters, just smooth.
Guys, The funny thing about all this is that the PF24's with the embossed writing were original on the 68, 69, and early 70 only cars. (Possibly also on the 67 cars, but need to check.) The late 70 and all 71-72 cars had smooth bottoms like the reproductions. I think some of these guys are getting a little crazy. Duane
Im surprised none of the reproduction companies sell a PF-24 decal that you can stick on a plain white filter. That way you can use any filter you want. The Mustang companies have been selling the Autolite/ Rotunda decals for years
I have been thinking about making a decal just for that reason :Brow: Does anyone have an old PF-24 (no embossing necessary) that they could lend me so that I can get the art dimensions?
Only if you promise to be real careful with it  PM me with your address and I'll send it to you
