The 15 x 10 inch wheels from Origional Parts Group do they have the correct backspacing for the rear of my 71 GS. I want to install 275/60/15 on the rear. Will this combination fit?

First of all are you sure the tires will fit on the rim?

If you are using BF Goodrich T/A Radial tires, the manufacturer recommends a maximum rim width of 9.5".

If you are not using BF tires, be sure the tires will fit on a 10" rim!:TU:

I went through this whole thing. I had 275/60R15 tires on 15x8 rims with 4-1/2" backspacing and they fit perfect. I went now to 32550R15 on 15x10's with 5-5/8" backspacing. A VERY tight fit, but they do work.

My advice would be to get 15x8's if you're going to stay with the 275's and not have any worries about rubbing or space, just make sure they have 4-1/2" backspacing. That gives you an inch of clearance on the inside and outside.
