HELLO what is missing in my combo to make an everyday 14s boat 74 riviera non gs ,stock rear ,stock converter,stock non stage 70 cam,HEI,mild head porting (home work),800cfm edelbrock carb,stock exhaust,mild intake manifold porting and matching and 8.5 CR so what do u think

thanks for the reply can i acheive 14's without changing anything in the rear or the exh manifolds i mean ,can i change the convertor , cam and mufflers with 2.5" to go in the 14? and in the same time it is an everyday driving car thanks to all
If you change cam and convertor, you will have no traction. Finding a posi rear will help give you the traction you need. Any other way, you'll be spinning your right tire halfway down the track. It is at around 9 to 1, only because the heads have been milled a bit. If they weren't milled, I would still be at 8.5 to 1.
