Looking to put a 12 bolt in my 70 gs, is this a direct bolt in? I was wondering if the upper and lower control arms worked for both the original 8.2 and the 12 bolt (1972 chevelle). Maybe someone else has been thru this.

Yes direct swap, the driver side control arm sometimes needs to be clearanced to avoid hitting the case, if that is needed be sure to plate around that mounting hole like the factory 12bt arms were. Driveshaft may need to shortened I cant remember

I think you need a hybrid U-Joint too.....pretty commonly available.

Unless you get a 12-bolt Chevy out of a Canadian-built car. Those take the same 3R u-joint as the BOP cars.
