My 70 GS has a 12 bolt chevy rear from a 69 chevelle and I would like to know if anyone have some 3:08 or 3:31 gears for a chevy 12 bolt ? I have got to get the 4:56 gears out of my car so I can enjoy driving it.

Bet that sucker was wound up TIGHT all the way up to the Pilot Mt. car show! I couldn’t have done it lol Gonna have to buy yer trailer back and unload it at shows and burnout contests...THAT I could do! heh heh
Ryan I would be interested in the 4:56 gears when you eventually swap it over. That's if you decide to sell them that is. Unfortunately the ones that will come out of mine are 2:73. Dan
Ok Dan, I have not opened the carrier yet to see if the posi unit is a 3 series with a spacer or a 4 series posi. If its a 4 series posi I will be getting rid of it as well. Dan this gear change will be happening soon. I want to drive this car and I just can't enjoy the car with this low of a gear.
At least you now can answer the age old question of “How lowwww can u goooo?” Not 4:56’s! Frank has 4:88’s in his Stage 1 ! Imagine driving that! Top speed 43 mph or something lol just kiddin!

Ryan, I have some new in the box 12 bolt gears, but I don’t know what ratio they are. I’ll let you know as soon as I get them uncovered and identified.
