On a motor with small chamber heads and low compression/cast pistons, would a KB107 cam work with the stock pistons, or will the valves smack the pistons? The cam does not appear to have a great deal of lift, but a bunch of duration. Also, will this work with stock springs or does it require stiffer springs? I have a TA212 that works fine through 5500 with the stock springs & cam bearings. I have some new lifters handy. Would this cam work with my combo?
    Thanx.

As I have stated many times in the past, it's not the lift that is the problem, it' the overlap. The 107 is one cam that you would definately want to have notches for. It has alot of duration.

OK, scratch that idea. I am busted by the wife for buying a 59,435, 1973 regal w/a 455 for $250 (I gave some more details on "The Bench"). So I will not spend the $$$ I don't have. Thanx.
