I'm looking at buying a 1050 Dominator for my Buick in the future. I was on Jeg's website and saw that there are many different kinds. Some have progressive mechancial secondaries and others have soft progressive mechancial secondaries. Some have 2 circuit metering and some have three. Some have a primary power valve some do not. I'm not sure what all of this means, but I would like to know so I know which one to buy. Can anybody help me out. Thanks.

I'm running the #9375 Dominator. On the street it has no bad manners at all. Its a 1050. Idles great, no hesitation, good cold start characteristics. And on the track its a good performer.

Yep, go with the 9375. But, I would get one from someone like Quickfuel or BG that's been tuned to your general application. There is such a wide range of applications for the Dominator, you need to make sure your air bleeds and metering blocks are sized for your general application. Talk to someone at Quickfuel, BG, Pro-Systems, Davinci, etc. and get it right.

The 9375's have annular boosters which help the mid-range on a heavy car (most GS's). It is also a 3-circuit carb, which just fills in the gap between idle circuit and main circuit. This helps part-throttle cruise.

    Have fun.
