Was looking at the favorite car thread. Life is trade offs. A more real question is if you had $100K and storage space for ten cars what would you do?

I'd have a used 4WD PU choo choo, 10K, open trailer 3K, 2 nice race/driver GS's avg cost $18K each, a restored or survivor GS show car $30K, Riv GS $20K, GN $15K.

Crap I'm over budget already and running out of space for parts.

Or would you just buy that one or two cars you want at any price?

    1 or 2 ??

Mike,1 or 2 cars, are you kidding? I think Hot Wheels ruined me when I was a kid because I had to collect all of them and now I want every car I can get my hands on!! Unforunately the ones I get are usally major projects, but I love them anyways.

This wouldn't be as much fun for me because I would have to start by replacing a few daily driver..............but I could buy REAL cheap ones and still have $98,000 left right??

Lets see I'd buy a nice Roadmaster sdn and a wagon too! Then I'd go with a 70GS stage1 and I'd also like to get a driver type clone in here that I can BEAT like a rented mule!! ANy change would be spent on engine parts!

Well, I don't see the $100,000.00 thing happening but at least I do have the truck and trailer!

Well, first off I would get a newer car for my wife. She doesn't like the "old" 1992 Buick Roadmaster wagon so I would get her a 1996 Buick Roadmaster wagon for about 5,000 leaving 95000 for fun.

1.Sink 25000 into my basket case 70 stage 1 convertible body wise to save it once and for all.

    2.Buy a 4 speed GS convertible. 1970-72, any motor. $30000?

3.Buy a 1971 GSX. 350 car is fine here too. Gotta be Lime Mist or Stratomist Blue. $38000?

4.Buy 4 more parts cars at $500 each.

No new projects here. First, finish the garage redo so its nicer to work in, then onto the DOA's I already have:

    66 4x4 (a "what if" Buick truck)
    87 Turbo T (was a bank repo - missing a 'few' parts)
    74 Riv GS Stage 1
    65 Skylark

and use some to live on while taking a leave of absence from work so I could actually work on 'em.

    Well 100k and storage?

    A 98 Riviera Silver Arrow
My 71 Riviera built into a 13 second car.
    A MASSIVE Wildcat or Electra
    A GNX
And a Big old Lincoln with Suicide doors.

That would do It I think.
