I am took my 76 350 block to the machine shop to get the cylinders bored and the crank cut. I know that .060 over is max for the cyl. so I thought 0.020 would give me room for another rebuild later. Should I just go 0.010 off the mains and rods? I did spin a bearing but the shop measured and said 10 over would be fine. I am ordering a master rebuild kit but I need to specify the sizes for them. How much can the rod and main journals be cut on the SBB? I want to make sure I have enough left for another rebuild.

I rebuilt my 70 SP 315 hp 350 and I have a .010 under on rods and mains both.I have the Poston 118 cam and Ta Headers and the adjustable oil pressure regulator.I have 50 lbs oil pressure when its warm, but I haven't driven it on the street since the 1/4 is still being worked on.I don't think you'll have any problems with a .010 under crank as long as your bearing clearances are ok.
