But "Hubcap Kimbo" MUST know what they're worth.

She even put her face at the bottom of the auction.

  5. "rated a perfect 7 on our scale" i thought the industry standard on scales was 1- 10 with 10 being perfect Bob

I've bought and sold with hubcapkimbo, they know what they're doing. You typically get what you pay for in life. Jeff & Lorin if I remeber correctly? He actually came to my house to pick up some hubcaps.

re: numbers rating. the seller has more info about their 1-10 rating system on the me page. some nice stuff, but hubcaps/ wheelcovers are the one part of the car people seldom want to pay a fair price for.

i am not making any statement as to the value of these caps, but i do know a guy who sold 5 nos spinners for a 60 dodge recently for $1450.00 plus shipping. beauty is in the eye of the beholder i guess.

I always seem to pay too much when I buy anything, but for once I think I got lucky. One early morning last year I was checking ebay as I do everyday, and noticed an ad for four '63 spinner hubcaps. The ad said... bought new but never installed, still in original boxes. I checked the time the ad was listed and it was only a few minutes old. The seller had a "buy it now" for
$120.00, so I did, but thinking there must be something wrong here. After I bid I sent the seller an email to confirm that they were indeed nos...and he replied...what does nos mean? I waited nervously until they arrived at my door. I looked over each one and after seeing the fourth one I was thrilled beyond belief...like I had just won the lottery or something. I thought...even sex isn't THIS good. This one find makes up for a lot of ebay disappointments, and I've had my share.

Greg, I have always wondered if the Wildcat had its own plastic center medallion in the wire caps? It shows that way in some of the literature like "Facts and Features" book.
Do yours have the tri-shield or Wildcat emblem?

    Regards,
