I'm planning to convert a non-A/C car to A/C by swapping in the pass side section of firewall. Anyone parting an A/C car and willing to cut out 1/2 the firewall?
Barry, I think I have that section already cut out of a 70 that I scrapped. I will check to make sure it is ok. Duane
Barry, Just checked it out. The firewall piece is cut at the hump and goes all the way to the outside of the passenger side cowl area. It goes from the top seam at the firewall, all the way down to and including the front body mount. It should have everything you need. I live 7 miles from the Philadelphia Airport, just south of the city. Duane
Converting over to fact. a/c Barry, I think your also going to need the metal in the kick panel area on the right side. Fresh air vent is eliminated on fact.a/c piece with a notch provided for the main vent tube out of the suitcase. Bill V.
