Hi all. i was thinking that since i have my heads out for rebuild, about drilling and tapping hole for o2 sensor for carb adjustment. has anyone done this with stock 70 350 manifolds...any problems with this? thanks, mooks.
I think is a good idea.I welded a bung on the pipe about 3-6" from where it attaches to the manifold,make sure it is in a position where you can get to the sensor and that doesn't place the wires in harm's way.I would not drill into my manifolds since they are kind of thin around the collector area,I have welded bungs on headers in the past right at the collector but I didn't want to take a chance on the manifolds.
